So, we collaborate with Multindo Technical Garage to build this cool and amazing wind turbines!
But we also found some obstacle. Like how the alternator of the secondary car was too big :(
But we do have solutions! We then make modification generator by small choging.

What's so cool and different about this amazing "wind turbines"?

Soo, here is our secret recipe :)
1. The vertical axis windmill
With Blora conditions that have wind speeds of 3-4 m / s, according to data from BMG Middle Prov.Jawa, Kab, Blora, it's more effective to use windmill with vertical axis that is more sensitive to wind. Has a vertical axis windmill blade movement parallel to the direction of wind, this windmill has simple structure. And this mill can be used at wind speeds that vary with different directions (Latif, 2013).
2. Axis and Bearing
With the bearing, the wheel shaft can rotate smoothly.
3. Tower
Tower serves as a buffer shaft and bearing to put a windmill blades.
4. Stabilizer
The stabilizer to stabilize the generator output to remain stable output voltage when the wheel spins faster and faster and to keep the output of the solar cell remains 15 Volt, although the sun at the peak of the scorching heat.

Then what is the solution?

Yeay! After we undergo complex process of creative and critical thinking, may we present you guys with the “Vertical Axis Wind Turbines and Solar Cell as a Power Plant in Pest Trap”
In that photo, you can see three parts of the tool, which is the vertical axis wind turbine on the upper side, solar cell attached on the arm and insect trap on the center.

Background of Our Idea

1. The number of insects and pests around the fields or gardens that are in the area around the forest / away from the settlement.
2. The use of insect traps require electricity, and to get the electricity network is very difficult because much of the settlement.
3. Take advantage of the wind and the sun as a renewable energy source, so it helps farmers are out of reach PLN.
4. Due to the use of operational costs of trap insects by utilizing wind power and solar cell is very cheap, it is helping farmers to improve their welfare.
5. Use the vertical axis windmill is better than horizontal axis windmills, because the vertical axis windmill is more sensitive to low speed wind gusts, according to Blora conditions that have low wind speeds (3-4 m / s).
6. Maintenance and reparation of tool insect trap is easy.
