Zoe Lloyd

Zoë is a second year joint degree MBA/MEM candidate at the Yale School of Management and the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. She is interested in pursuing social innovation and entrepreneurship to scale economic development in urban communities. Zoë is the Co-Leader of the Social Impact Lab, a weekly speaker series that offers a unique, inspiring opportunity to learn from powerful leaders from within and beyond the SOM community. During the summer of 2015, Zoë worked as the Brand Strategy Apprentice at Ziba Design in Portland, Oregon. She gained experience in engaging Fortune 500 clients in the design thinking process, conducting brand positioning that informed clients' brand strategy, and developed concepts and stories that helped clients be successful. Before enrolling at Yale, Zoë worked as the Americorps VISTA Environmental Education Coordinator at the New Kensington Community Development Corporation in Philadelphia and as the Local Food Operations Manager at Common Market Philadelphia, a startup nonprofit local food distributor. She has experience in community engagement and education, program innovation and management, sales and business development, and operations. Zoë is a native of New York and holds a B.A. from Haverford College in Urban and Environmental Studies.
