I am currently a Masters student in toxicology at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. I received my Honors Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto in pharmacology and immunology. Working in scientific & regulatory consulting in toxicology and food health claims for the past several years has triggered my interest in further understanding the relationship between bioactive compounds in foods and disease prevention. My current research is focused on investigating the health-promoting effects of rice bran in children with elevated cholesterol. Having grown up on 3 continents, I have a penchant for collaborating with people with diverse backgrounds to generate health solutions that have major global impacts.
