Agro-Environmental economist by training from McGill University, Sidiki A. SOW will shortly become a Professional Agronomist by entering the Order of Quebec Agronomists. As a consultant, he has already developed a project worth ½ a million dollars of profit for a multinational West African agribusiness firm. He recently founded ProtERA Farms, a disruptive start-up that aims to tackle the challenge of sustainably feeding 2 additional billion people by developing insect farming for feed and food in West Africa. ProtERA recently received the first prize at HEC Social Business Creation and was selected as one five winners at Accelerate 2030 launched by Impact Hub Geneva in collaboration with the UNDP.
