joseph kamin makerere U, uganda
our team aims at empowering Ugandans to become self sustaining by facilitating an informed and productive society through promoting smallholder farmers’ access to favorable agricultural markets for improved incomes and food security
Passionate about how poor and vulnerable people in our rural community are trapped in the vicious cycle of poverty, food insecurity, vulnerability, and deprivation that has led many to be disempowered and living in conditions that trap them in abject poverty. Aproven fact that agricultural growth can work as a primary source of poverty reduction and food and nutrition security in the rural communities of Uganda and the world at large compelled us to partticipate in the challenge. we want to create a system that enables the expansion of smallholder farmer’s incomes to lead to a faster rate of poverty alleviation, raise the incomes of rural farm cultivators, reduce food expenditure and thus promote food and nutrition security, food distribution and improve health status' amongest deserving communities.
