One-third of all food produced in the world for human consumption is wasted or lost each year. Our research into the interaction between India's economic, social and environmental changes has surfaced the fact that it is now the opportune moment to significantly improve India's transport-controlled supply chains. The Thought for Food challenge came along, and it was a golden opportunity for the two to take their interest a step further. Along with her childhood friend who's a Sociology major, and another Business student who was intrigued by food and poverty issues, the awesome Sleigh! team was born. And, this is how we roll on our sleigh.
