HIVES Honey team believes that innovation and entrepreneurship are the best way to solve the global food challenge. We plan to produces and sells high quality honey and other bee by-products, creating sustainable revenue stream for two activities: 1) Research and nurture more healthy bees that are more resilient to the environmental change, thus helping to fight for bees problem such as colonial collapse disorder. 2) Promote rural and urban beekeeping to pollinate local plant. We believe the most innovative solution can come from the most natural element, such as the magic creature, bees. Bees are indeed important for food security: 1/3 of plant products eaten by humans are directly or indirectly dependent on bee pollination. According to a research by Under the Mango Tree in India, the productivity of 14 types of plants increase (from 27 % to 227 %) where there are bee hive. HIVES Honey will work on to make bees more healthy and food supply more sustainable.
