After a dozen years, world could face emergent problem at a higher level while population is rapidly growing, and people will not have enough food to eat. Along with a number of social issues such as environmental pollution (soil, water, air), security, resource management. All factors that also affect the production of food and dietary needs of humans. Therefore, we students at International University- Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam hope to participate in the contest of TFF Challenge 2014 for a chance to contribute personal project in solving the food problem after tens of years.

Our Background

Our project will focus on the form of the Science / Engineering, and it will be global. It means our project can be applied to all countries, not only in developed countries like (USA, France) but also developing countries like our country- Vietnam. Specifically, we want to produce a particular type of food which is capable of long-term storage, hygiene, food safety, convenience in use and appropriate product price to be able to solve the challenge of this year's TFFcontest: How to feed 9 billion people 'by 2050. We hope that with our utilized solutions, Famine problem and food shortages will not exist, or may limit the maximum level after tens of years. We – the food scientist in future believe that “Dining is a new life”. This means that if people are well fed, eat enough then their life will become better. Africa, especially West African countries could be one important example. Besides, this contest also gives us the opportunity to be able to interact with other people, make foreign friends around the world, as well as learn about their persuasive projects. We will try our bests with all our enthusiasm, passion, efforts in performance of this project.
