Post-its crazyness!

This is how we almost get crazy with our post-its.
Making our social canvas and first brainstorming :)

We are famous!!!

Last week we participated in Thaski, a competition in Peru for young social entrepreneurs. Kuchara and other 10 projects were selected from over than 100 projects as the Top 10 projects. Finally, we didn't win the 1st prize, but now, we are part of a big community of social entrepreneurs in Peru. We are so happy and proud to have reached to this point and we are going to keep doing our best. Get ready world!!!

Idea Garage!!! / Published November 18, 2015 by Diego Guillermo Valencia López

Idea Garage!!!

The more we dig on the explore mode, the more ideas we have.
Half of them are amazing and the other half, twice amazing.

As I would say: We are giving birth ... newborn ideas.
The best thing we can do, is to keep them safe and
warm in the idea garage.

Our Mission

Reinvent our food system connecting more efficiently consumers and farmers.

Our Background

We come from volunteer organizations that work with agricultural extension services in different rural communities in Peru. Due to this experience, on August 2014, we identified first time the problem of the rural youth migration and its relation with food security. We also realize something else, that we, as urban citizens, were product of that migration process, because our parents and grandparents had been those young farmers who migrated to the city looking for better job opportunities years ago. We had to do something for today's young farmers, to generate opportunities where they can achieve their life goals through farming. Since then, we have been pivoting Kuchara in the pursuit of a sustainable, innovative and scalable business model. Today, 15 months after, we have finally found it. Get ready world!
