Our mission is to develop the practices that make cereal production (especially, corn) more productive and resilient to changed climate while reducing the production costs and ecological footprint to meet the growing food demand for increasing global population. We also aim to provide effective ways of cereal by product utilization so that it can be used as either feed for animals or nutrient sources for crops.
Today 1 in 8 people worldwide already suffer from hunger. Growing population numbers and climate change will result in additional food insecurities, particularly for the resource poor in developing countries who cannot meet their food requirements through market access. Fertile lands are limiting, agricultural productivity is not at increased trends, and hunger increased day by day. A key challenge for agriculture is to be able to feed 9 billion people by 2050 without further degrading and polluting land. We believe, agricultural sector plays a prominent role in the fight against global poverty and hunger. Our team belongs to Nepal, and some members are currently studying in United States which is considered leading agriculture country in the world. At TFF platform, we are introducing agricultural practices which will be helpful to increase production by making more resilient to changed climate.
