The existing business with 2500 birds produces, grades, packs, markets and distributes own shell eggs to Hotels, groceries, and wholesalers. It was started in 2012 and the market has grown due to the quality products sold. With its supply, it can not meet the growing demand thus need to go aggregate farming. The idea will be part of the existing business.
The business idea is for rearing of exotic chicken for production of eggs. Most of the production is carried out by a large number of farmers, each with a very small flock Smaller egg producers will be helped to reach larger markets with aggregate farming. We will aggregate small farmers around Wakiso district who simply do not have the volume necessary to supply large accounts. Through the latest marketplace technologies and processes, aggregate farming will bring smaller farmers to get eggs to markets faster with more freshness and profit.
