Community Supported Agriculture

Help create sustainability in food industry

Community supported agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and consumers

Use Case

There are two groups of people are the survival of the agriculture in the developing countries, especially Vietnam. 1. The consumer – they have to worry about food security from the producers who use too much chemical in the food. With lack of subside, they still have to consume. Vietnam is listed as the highest rate of cancer in the world – We are what we eat and food really does affect our health. 1. The farmers – they do not have access to high-technology and training, the only way they believe to maximise production is to use chemical, to push the growth of vegetables or meat. In addition, doing farming involved physical work, they choose to go to the city, the city gets crowded and lack of food to feed, as a result, the lands in rural area are death.

Potential

The world is getting bigger and we have to feed a lot more people in the near future. We-Nature appreciates that we are from different backgrounds that can support each other to develop a concept that can support our community better. It is time for every one of us to wake up and have the responsibility about food safety and food shortage, it is our every day consumption and we cannot only rely on the farmers. Community Supported Agriculture is a way of inspiring each other to be responsible for what we eat and how we can sustain it. We believe our concept will be able to apply to many other countries in the world, especially the developing countries. Our concept is also help everyone access to quality food for better health.

Business Case

1. The farmers – we support farmers to train them with more knowledge so that they are more confident in what they are doing. In addition, we support them to access to high technology using zero waste and renewable energy that can create cheap and clean energy, On-the-spot organic fertilizers, Organic plant cultivation and protection, On-site feed production, Organic breeding and disease prevention, Post harvesting treatment, preservation and transportation and household-scale agricultural mechanisation. 2. The consumer: CSA engages consumer to put more effort in the agriculture, share the value of organic food by getting involved more in the process of farming.

Objectives:

  1. Help connect our community to get involved in the agriculture and aware of food shortage
  2. Help farmers to have access to more knowledge, network and technology and save our environment
  3. Help the world to be fed with secured food and sustain the food industry for 9 billions people in 2050
