Beelive in Honey!

innovative beekeeping tech to fully employ a poor country's resources

Use Case

The technology to mitigate the whole process, which will attract more unemployed people with lack of skills to take up new occupation. Additionally, this will introduce cheap highly nutritious honey and related products for general public to access.

Potential

The world is missing on potential high quality honey that countries as Tajikistan possess. In such mountainous places as Tajikistan, where natural conditions for agriculture is not favorable, this business model enable people to access nutrients and thus mitigate the problem of hunger.

Business Case

In our social enterprise we are tackling the problem of hunger in Tajikistan considering the specifics of this country. Since because of geographic specifics opportunities for agriculture are quite limited, we are proposing to develop honey bee farming among the country’s citizens. Also honey bee farming is suitable for tackling the hunger in Tajikistan, as its flora has a potential of sustaining up to 500 thousands honey bee families. However Tajikistan barely produces one tenth of this amount .

Objectives:

  1. Introduce highly nutritious end products of beekeeping to Tajikistani public
  2. Engage unskilled cluster of Tajikistani society
  3. Attract foreign customers

Our Mission

We are a group of enthusiasts who want to solve major problems with hunger, poverty and ecology in the Central Asia. We truly believe that Kazakhstan has enormous opportunities to rise its agriculture and economics and to be a model country, which can help to our neighbor countries. During the USSR our country was a flagman of meat, wheat and cotton export, but after the crisis at the end of XX century we lost the key agricultural strategic points. We want to rise the agricultutral capacity, which will definitely help to neighbor countries with the hunger like in China and Tajikistan.
