Our Mission

Feed-in! is a social business and sustainable animal feeding start-up company. We produce food fish pallet products that will support fishery industry. Our main target customers are fish farmers from developing countries. We are focused empowering fishery industry to produce sustainable and affordable animal feeding, while conserving our world's scarce natural resources. We only produce sustainable food fish pallets from waste materials. These materials are abundant, thus we can save and cut input costs quite significantly. We strive to develop most affordable products for every farmer by broadly using only waste materials, while streamline all manufacturing and production processes.

Our Background

Fishery industries have a crucial contribution to the economic and nutritional wellbeing of millions of people around the world. In fishery industry, animal feeding is the single largest and most important cost component. It is estimated, fish farmers spend at least 80% of total expenses for animal feeding products. Producing affordable and sustainable animal feed products is critical and thus plays a leading role in the global fishery industry. Our solution is to produce sustainable and affordable animal food fish pallet products from biodegradable waste materials such as water hyacinth and animal blood. Water hyacinth has a high fibre ingredient, while animal blood offers a rich-protein content. Using these waste resources, we are able to produce cost-effective food fish pallet products, whilst adopting good practices of circular economy. Through participation in the 2016 TFF challenge, we aim to scale up our products to have greater market sizes of not only for fish farmers from developing countries, but also for entire world. We need to streamline every aspect of manufacturing and production process, thus our products will be more cost effective with high degree of product productivity.
