World Food Day 2016

Today's celebration for #WorldFoodDay is about to end, but all of us should continue to think of different ways and take action to find a solution on how we can feed 9 billion people in the world by 2050.

First Team Meeting! / Published October 15, 2016 by Paula Mae Espiritu

First Team Meeting!

Run for CLAM had their first team meeting earlier today, October 15, to plan and discuss about the main idea and mechanics of the project that they will be proposing.

The team believes that it's always best to start early! Don't you agree?

Our Mission

Run for CLAM aims to raise awareness and provide the Children from Low-income areas Affected by Malnutrition (CLAM) with micronutrient-rich food, in order to reduce child malnutrition and eventually eliminate hunger in the world. We believe that it's not just about feeding 9 billion people in the world, but more importantly, it's about feeding them the right food.

Our Background

Run for CLAM is founded by a group of friends and students from the University of the Philippines who aspire together to become youth changemakers. We dare to innovate and help fulfill some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations by joining social innovation competitions to turn our ideas into real projects that can create a positive impact in the society and transform the world.
