Our stable clients are from local markets, international markets, schools, Hospitals, NGOs, Hotels, restaurants and Wholesale shops where we will be selling our products in different parts of the country and outside the country.

IFW will be distinguished from others by buying and selling agricultural products like maize, banana, cassava, ground nuts, Irish potatoes, sweet potatoes and beans which are highly grown in Rwanda. Adding value to the products mainly focusing on processing peanut butter from groundnuts, chips from sweet potatoes, Irish potatoes, and bananas, grinding machine to grid maize into maize floor and cassava floor plus many more.

Convenience is essential to us; we need to be close to our market because we are not trying to get people to travel to reach us. •The right product, variety with a unique quality, with a price not higher to establish credibility, but not so high as to limit customers. •Reaching out to our clients •We will use professionalism and effective communication among employees in order to make each member become responsible for the business efficiency. The company will have a comprehensive marketing, advertising, and promotion campaign that will maximize word-of-mouth marketing and will consist of radio, printed material, billboards, TV and discounts.

Solving problem of food shortage and malnutrition

I FEED the WORLD Ltd looks forward to solve the problem of food shortage and malnutrition in local farmers and refugees in camps in the Eastern Rwanda.

Our Mission

We seek to eradicate poverty and malnutrition through enhancing skills of local farmers to ensure high food production, creating stable market and add value to their agricultural products with an aim of supplying food to all over the world. Reduce youth and women unemployment by creating employment opportunities, skills and training on how to practice sustainable agriculture by engaging women and youths in cooperatives and associations that will encourage them to initiate/run their small businesses.

Our Background

Due to 1994 Rwandan genocide against Tutsi that led to the killings of thousands innocent people, not only that but also being the most turbulent Rwanda has ever experienced in its history. As a result the country faced mass migrations, economic crisis, diseases, return of refugees and environmental destruction. Rwandan families were affected and are still strongly strangling with poverty. In order to overcome poverty, Rwandans are doing different activities and one of them is agriculture where 80% of the Rwandans depend on Agriculture and contributes 34% of the GDP of the country. The majority people who are involved in agriculture are women and people in rural areas who face bigger challenges like lack of market for their food production and advanced skills on sustainable agriculture. Similarly the most challenges that are causing poverty and hunger in the world include people living in poverty who cannot afford nutritious food for themselves, most farmers often cannot afford seeds, fertilizers, tools and many others like lack of agricultural infrastructure, enough roads, warehouses and irrigation systems In addition to that transport costs, and long distance to access markets of farmer’s agricultural products mostly in developing countries, storage facilities and unreliable water supplies that have conspire to limit agricultural yields and access to food. There are also climatic conditions like drought which is the most common cause of food shortages in many parts of the Africa not forgetting unstable markets and food wastage. Considering all those challenges as students learning Agriculture we were heartfelt to come up with an idea that could bring possible solutions to poverty, hunger through improving agricultural practices that will ensure high food production and supply to feed the World’s fast growing population by 2050, via providing market to local farmers, increasing affordability of seeds, fertilizers, tools, irrigation systems, reducing transport costs by buying their products, provision of high quality seeds that can tolerate climatic conditions, ensuring food processing that will increase reservation of the food rather than being wasted hence increasing food supply and enhancing food security which led to the birth of I FEED the WORLD Ltd.
