Like their name, Healthy cereals is a healthy instant cereals that made out of pumpkin that mixture with moringa leaves.

Use Case

Healthy Cereals can serve quickly when you don’t have many time to prepare breakfast. You just put healty cereals into a bowl and poured some milk, healthy cereals ready to eat. Healthy cereals not only fullfil food neccessity but also can keep the body’s health because there are highly antioxidant inside for defend our body from free radicals that becomes the main cause of deseases. Healthy cereals also had a good taste although you just eat them like snack. Healthy cereals have a practice shape so that it will be easy to bring and eat them everywhere.

Potential

Half of Healthy cereals inggredients are made of pumpkin. That’s mixed with marunggai flour with other stuff flour and flavour in it. Marunggai flour is easy to get and cheap in price, because its availabilty is rich. It’s always easy to grow in dyr land such as Asia and Africa. Marunggai contains high antioxidant and pumpkin contains beta-carotein, vitamin A, carbohydrate, and also antioxidant. Healthy cereals not only fullfil food neccessity but also can mantain body’s health from free radical that becomes the main cause of deseases. Healthy Cereals have a big prospect in the future, because free radical from electronic media wil be also high. Healthy Cereals are easy to get and cheap it can also be massively produced for the society.

Business Case

1. We are going to use social media to promote this product. All of us know that the user number of social media always increase more than 1.65 billion people/month that use. 2. This product going to be promote to the center food market production which spread at our country. Promote to the minimarket, and supermarket. 3. This product going to be promote to friends, university instructors, and of course our family first.

Objectives:

  1. 1. To become an available food. Purple sweet potato and merunggai tree can grow at every land. Healty cereals can always be produced.
  2. 2. To make healty cereals able to be eaten by the people in this world because majority staple food of them come from cerealia.
  3. 3. To give value added because in Indonesia pumpkin availablity is rich but their use is still limited.

Our Mission

Indonesia has a very rich natural source. The state of soil, weather, climate, and water gives benefit to the growing of various plants. Whatever it is being planted, it will grow. So why? Many people still can’t escape from hunger? That situation encourages us to give contribution in food innovation to reduce the problem that is currently happening. Our mission from YI-FOR FUTURE TEAM discussion forum are: • To give food innovation for world society in 2050 • To solve hunger problem that happens in many different countries with low welfare • To use rich availibilty of pumpkin because major of them waste, especially in Indonesia. • To use staple that fulfill body’s nutritional needs and is easy to be cultivated in dry soil so that people will no longer depend on rice as the staple of ASEAN society • the production in the form of cereal is chosen in order to make its existence able to be used by the whole world society

Our Background

Our team consists of four members from the same University and with the same mission that is to fix up the prevailing food necessity for the future. The information and support from TFF ambassador via social media made us decide to join this challenge. Initiated from the environmental problem happening in agriculture around us, we take action and try to find solution because pumpkin availabilty is rich but their use is still limited. Moreover, the food supply is still under the level of sufficient amount and in need of concern. Therefore, the mixing of merunggai leaves will be very much helpful in fulfilling the body’s need. Under the pressure of busy hours of going to college and other existing students’ creativities, we feel restless and passionate to tackle this challenge. We are confident that after sorrow there will be happiness. It is always be the nature of life that hardship and hard work will be later paid by success. We undoubtedly want to be one of the Young Innovator For Future, the protector of world food.
