We stand for freedom of all organisms. We stand for independence. We stand for peace. We stand for at home manufacturing. We think that if meat is going to be grown in a lab it should be grown in a home lab. We stand for local food as to reduce useless energy consumption in shipping and export. We stand for eating things better than corn and the other animals that we feed it to. Without independence peace cannot be achieved, we only see this on differing scales around the world. Whether it leads to citizens being unruly because their state is "independent" but they aren't. Refugees will always be refugees as long as they are seeking refuge, all people are refugees to some extent. We need to seek unitary independence and sharing it, not simple stability in the economy game. Food, water, and shelter make themselves in the right conditions no reason to exploit that with a dollar sign. Exploitation of renewable necessity has allowed people be lazy and sick. Bringing us hectares and hectares of subsidized corn to be refined to products that are unnatural in composition and in many ways linked to disease. We believe in variety in our diets, instead of the same ingredients and nutrients/lack thereof just in different flavors. We also believe that animals deserve a place in this world, outside of captivity. We do not believe in killing animals, the egg industry, the dairy industry, they are both linked to unnecessary torture and killing.
I am Zavier. I am an independent learner looking to make a change. I research tissue culture and biohacking. I care about food a lot. I believe that synthetic biology and genetic engineering should be used creatively, and adhere more to concepts and disciplines similar to cooking. I want everyone to be able to have infinite genetic resource, so anyone can grow their own food. Allowing global trading of cultivars and edible species. Bringing rare wild edibles into a laboratory mindset so we can engineer brand new food crops and cell lines. This doesn't have to limit itself to plants, imagine being able to grow any type of meat in a bio reactor with the right ingredients and a starter culture. We need to shift into the mindset that macro and micro nutrients are valuable resources to develop and balance in systems, not something to spray across a field or shove in the face of your livestock. I want to lessen the world of jobs so everyone is exploring something, and we don't need to call it work. Right now farming is a pay to play; play to live game. Farming deserves a change, people inspired by plants and seeking to understand/research them are the people who should grow plants for society not people naive enough to buy into convention and abuse of resources. We want to bring tissue culturing and unique breeding/modification methods for plants. Genetic modification is only as bad as its use, lets let the people show big corporations just what it should be used for. Everyone has the capacity to understand this technology, lets not dumb down biotech for the people, lets teach the people how to be confident in knowledge and garner understanding, instead of people thinking they cant think about it.
