We need the world to feed the world. This was one of my biggest takeaways when I did a year long fellowship with Land O'Lakes called the Global Food Challenge. The objective of this program was to develop a plan on how to positively impact global food security, feed 9 billion people. The VertiKale team currently consists of two women who are passionate for urban farming and bringing access to locally grown fresh produce to urban areas. This team started January of 2016 with the goal of creating a sustainable business that can impact many people in a positive way.
