We are Indonesian who have a great interest on food of the world. We concern about food sovereignty, food security, food fulfillment for all people in the world. This team named Dewi Sri, who was a name of a Rice Goddess from Javanese mythology. The ancient Javanese believed Dewi Sri will give a great help of a success crop so the people will have an enough stock of food. From that believe, we stand a hope of giving contribution in food fulfillment around the world since the challenge is getting real day by day. We care that nowadays, people got denutrition from food they eat, so many waste from food, and price increasing. We hope through this challenge, we can grow and collaborate to bring food and agriculture together.
Dewi Sri team consits of four undergraduate students of Bogor Agricultural University. Alifah Nur Aini (21 years) study about Food Science and Technology, Linda Elvina Holy (20 years) study about Agronomy and Horticulture, Nita Afriani (21 years) study about Biology, Fitri Ramadhani (21 years) study about Food Science and Technology. We are here as representative of Dewi Sri in this 21st Century. We're ready to feed Indonesia and the world. Indonesia, which is a prosperous country, has a huge population and it has been admitted that Indonesia is the fourth biggest population in the world.
