Santripti is a sanskrit word which means fulfillment - and that's the mission we stand for. It is our aim to ensure that the fulfilling feeling of a good meal is something everybody can enjoy. In the world we live in today, where we produce enough to feed everybody, yet so many go leading hungry lives, we want to bring a change that will ensure that no mouth goes unfed.
Our team is composed of four members - Aayush Singhal, Ananth Radhakrishnan, Ankit Dhanvijay and Priyanka Rao. We are all in our first year, pursuing an MBA at IIM Bangalore. Our campus being conscious about food wastage has regular checks, status updates and helpful messages to reduce wastage in the institute cafeteria. While this has encouraged us to reduce food wastage in our own lives, it also led us to question whether we can do more to contribute to reducing this problem worldwide. This is why we feel that applying to the Thought For Food challenge was the best step forward in this regard.
