Our goal is to reduce the fossil fuel burden of modern day agriculture by creating a network of urban spaces dedicated to food production. This will be accomplished by connecting unused green space (such as back yards) to urban farmers who are willing to manage the land. The idea is to maximize the usability of urban green spaces to not only provide locally sourced food but to promote biodiversity.
There has been a radical shift in the way contemporary agricultural production environments are organized. As a result, many environmental, social and health effects have arisen and are projected onto future generations. We want to feed the world by bringing agriculture back to its simplistic roots.
