We are Team BIG! I mean literally have you seen our picture. :D
BIG also represents our idea which are trying to bring into a reality. We are simply that group of people that always have a lot of ideas but most of them never really move on from that stage. So we are trying our hand at the TFF.
Our team consists of:
Keron, who is an ambassador for TFF and have entered twice before. Keron says "I know how 'BIG' TFF is and I dream of being on the stage with the finalists. I'm trying again because if I don't I wont succeed." He is an agri journalist and blogger with several experiences in the local, regional and interenational agri sphere. He leads the team.
Robert, is a lecturer at the University of the West indies. Don't let the title fool you. He is also a part time Phd student, a thinker and a tinkerer. he works with students to bring their machines into reality. We hope he can do the same for Team BIG
Musa, is a recent graduate of the University of the West Indies...for the second time. You would wonder why would a someone finish there Bsc and then go straight back into school for yet another Bsc? The pinnacle of curiosity and patience, Musa applies a measured know how to his endeavours. We expect him to balance out our team as we reach for the moon shot.
Our mission to to in some way or another assist gardeners and home backyard persons in improving their production so that it makes a substantial contribution to household food consumption.
In doing so we can combat several issues such as food waste, nutrition, food prices (given that Trinidad and Tobago is experiencing a recession), level of productivity of home gardens, level of household food security.
