African Food Revolution provides expertise and market analysis of the African food sector.

Use Case

At AFR we concentrate mainly on 3 pillars which are indigenous food harvesting and management, animal production and crop production systems. We provide practical solutions from market insights, new product development, food laws and safety and insights into regional & international markets. Our expertise can be used by anyone involved in the food industry from small-scale farmers to policymakers to the restaurant owners to big & small food processors to market researchers to investors who want to enter the African food domain.

Potential

African Food Revolution intends to use disruptive thinking to amplify short to medium food processing units in Africa. Our knowledge of the greatest food nations in the world makes us more equipped to solve the food problems in Africa. Our reliance on large cooperate companies is not the solution to fix the food problem in Africa. Our team consists of individuals who intend to tackle the food crisis head-on using disruptive thinking incorporating Food Science, Economics, Art, Electronics and Local Resource Mangement, as our main key developmental strategies. This will amplify small to medium food units reducing the food crisis in Africa. Our primary objective will be identifying indigenous food products and studying the food products and the value chains involved.

Business Case

Local and traditional food product development, Scientific research on indigenous and traditional African Foods, Indigenous animal husbandry and welfare, evaluating the genomics of local animal breeds, novel food production, insect marketing and recipe formulation, developing African Food laws AND African Market Analysis using Artificial Intelligence, Regression Models and Exchange Rate Models.

Objectives:

  1. 1. To be the solution to any problem related to Food production in Africa.
  2. 2. To be the first port of call for issues regarding Food Laws and Food Safety.
  3. 3. To facilitate smooth and easy networking amongst various African food stakeholders.

African Food revolution is an agribusiness company focusing on food development in Africa. We use the concept of "Farm to Folk" in our vision. Our primary area of focus being local food production (using indigenous foods), though we cater for other food domains. We are helping build the most efficient, environmentally sustainable and futuristic agricultural platforms in Africa.
