Our Mission

Hatun Ccocha means sea in Quechua, native language of Peru. The project is based on food safety by an integral use of marine resources, using the waste from the fishing industry we can obtain a product with low moisture content and higher added value in order to reduce levels of malnutrition, also generate a low cost organic fertilizers. This entrepreneurship have the advantage of being replicable and to generate social, economic and environmental impact.

Our Background

We are researchers from different careers who we are united by a sincere concern about the high levels of malnutrition in our country. Most of us have relatives or closes friend who live in the farest zones of the coast, where they do not have the possibility of eat fish because of the high cost in bringing food so long distances, also the economy condition of the farmers wont allowed the purchase of chemestry fertilizers.This reality inspired us to design a solution and be part of the change.
