inHouse provides the freshest produce possible for restaurants and households. Using a combination of logistics, servicing, and smart hardware, we set up customers with a hydroponic appliance that grows and preserves produce until the moment the food is ready to be eaten. We provide seedlings, delivered to the customer, and also maintain the distributed units through regular check-ups and remote monitoring. The result is produce that is more convenient, healthier, tastier, and fresher.
inHouse Produce is about tackling the problems of food waste and food security by growing food where it is to be eaten and getting rid of the supply chain. Tylor is an MIT grad/mechanical engineer and Trevor is a Berkeley grad/software engineer. We are participating in TFF due to a passion for helping people live healthier as well as an existential concern for the environment. Our goal is to make in-house produce growing devices as ubiquitous as the refrigerator.
