Use Case

Sweat fell off Omar’s brow, as the final beam of the Climate Smart Farm went up by the island’s local school, one of the few buildings standing after the hurricane. Construction was almost done, and by the end of the day they would have a working system; according to the Garden Pool aid helping construction, it would produce yield within the week. Omar sighed in relief: all the island’s farmland had been destroyed, and he worried about feeding his family, and his livelihood as a farmer. The CSF though would be resistant to the effects of another hurricane, and more productive than the way he farmed. A promise of quick, healthy food for him and his family brought a smile to his face. Maybe, he thought, I’ll even get one myself: with more crop to sell, perhaps I could afford that boat.

Potential

Our Climate Smart Farm (CSF) concept directly builds resilience to climate change and extreme weather events, and is a game changer for the most affected and vulnerable nations. By building local food capacity and producing 10 times the yield of traditional methods by utilizing 98% less water, nutrient cycling, and cloning technology, the CSF is proven to positively impact nations severely impacted by climate change and large scale natural disasters. Our work to bring the CSF to nations such as Barbuda have been extremely successful in wake of the large string of hurricanes in the region, reviving their agricultural capacity. The CSF concept has demonstrated real world applications and has the potential to be scaled up and utilized globally, transforming how the world does agriculture.

Business Case

The Climate Smart Farm business model utilizes an innovative approach of making money on the materials used, breaching the door for governmental level work and minimizing overhead cost. Money invested into product infrastructure drives a holistic strategy which yields a rapid return on investment. Logistically our return on investment normally peaks within a single harvest season and guarantees factorial multiplicity of product input through our revolutionary plant cloning technology. Synergy amongst the producer and consumer is integral to our model to ensure efficient operation and facilitate maximum yield. Our model expedites the drag time of 10-fold crop production for our clientele thus allowing them to become more adept to agricultural resilience.
