Use Case

A local producer is offered 3ply bags to store his/her produce for longer periods. A local wholesaler downloads our intuitively simple to use mobile app to update his stock quantities. Our Bank At Hause - Factor Xchange digital platform identifies less/decreasing stock quantities of items sold by the wholesaler and immediately notifies the producer via a text message to prepare produce to be collected by our middle men/trade agents/distributors. Since the producer is now able to keep produce for longer periods, he/she replies the text message an estimate of quantity he is keeping. Distributors are notified through the app to collect it and supply to the wholesaler. The wholesaler is not prompted to pay immediately but encouraged to sell produce on credit and bank returns 25% of profit.

Potential

The BAH - FX platform aims to create impact by ensuring growth and survival of entrepreneurial ventures through the following; 1. Risk of losses is reduced by 30% through empowering crop producers with better packaging option of high quality bags or boxes to prevent pests and rodents that affect post-harvest revenues. 2. Provision of current commodity prices. 3. Real-time credit demand and supply for financial institutions and investors. 4. Better finance products to reduce income inequality gap in enclave economies of the developing world. 5. Product traceability from farm to table. 6. Sustainable supply chain.

Business Case

Bank AT Hause - Factor Xchange is a subsidiary company and product of AT HAUSE Limited. Bank At Hause - Factor Xchange sells high quality 3ply bags to wholesalers to purchase commodities packed in these bags from factories, agricultural producers and suppliers. Bank At Hause - Factor Xchange outsources capital from Investors and financial institutions. Wholesalers link retailers with whom they created rapport. Retailer order for commodities on credit using Bank At Hause- Factor Xchange platform. Bank At Hause extends capital support to Wholesalers who supply commodities to retailers on credit. Retailers bank the investment and returns up to 25% of profit per item supplied on credit. Bank At Hause - Factor Xchange pays back investment and returns to investors and financial institutions.

Objectives:

  1. To crowd-source produce while offering high quality 3ply bag packaging to local producers to store produce for longer periods.
  2. To digitize supply and distribution.
  3. To leverage channel sales analytics to help improve assortment optimization.
