Use Case

Promoting Smallholder farmers for organic farming by using Biofertilizer and Producing ample of quality food without degrading the soil properties. We assure them marketing their products through us. We promote organic product to the consumers through ICTs information in low cost in the local market. This will ameliorate sustainable development goals. So “think Globally, work Locally.”

Potential

By 2030 world population is expected to be 8.5 billion and the food requirement will be 6th time greater than the present. This will be the severe challenge for agriculturist to grow maximum quality food production to meet the increasing population along with maintaining soil nutrient quality. Bio-World takes a promise to help marginalized farmers for quality food production along with full exploit of locally available resources. Promotion of Organic food help to produce healthy manpower without any contamination with the soil. At present farmers are unable to derive benefits from their farm products due to Middleman but Bio-World helps to rectify this problem by acting as farmer supportive ICTs link. Consequently, it helps to lessen the extreme poverty existing in the present scenario.

Business Case

Bio- World collaborates with Agricare center who are producing the Biofertilizer in commercial scale and makes the availability, using techniques for farmers. We too facilitate farmers for producing their commodities by making ease off their marketing through Bio-World link.

Objectives:

  1. Promoting small farm holder for ameliorating their economic standard.
  2. Restoration of declining soil fertility and thus optimizing the productivity.
  3. Assuring farmers for marketing their products through ICTs information at low cost as possible than in the local market.

Our Mission

Team emphasis mostly on biodiversity and environment related to plant health. After the beginning of "Green Revolution " production ratio increase with the increase in chemical fertilizer, pesticide, insecticide, and much other chemical substance, which incidence the different pest and pathogen along with decreasing the soil nutrient. so, promoting the use of biofertilizer to improve the soil quality along with controlling biologically different pest and pathogen.

Bio-World team is the group of 3 members(Bikram Nepali, Devashish Bhandari, and Sabin Bhattarai) team studying Agriculture ( 5th semester) at Agriculture and Forestry University, Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal. Our team mostly focused on the maximum production of agriculture crop yield sustainably using biofertilizer, which is beneficial to soil environment and plant growth.
