Nutricandies unites chocolate and vegetables in a healthy food, and believes in the collaboration between the spheres of food production.

Use Case

People have been concerned about the origin and quality of their food, seeking to eat good quality food that has a good impact on their health, but when we talk about sweets and the whole market involved (mainly on commemorative dates) people find themselves without skirt, thinking about it Nutricandies has developed a chocolate cream based on vegetable extract that is vegan and lactose free, providing pleasure to those who eat, as well as causing less natural impact, since our base is collaborative, returning to nature everything we take from it

Potential

What return do small farmers have of their vegetables sold beyond direct profit? What relationship do small producers of cakes, pies and biscuits have with their feedstock suppliers and how do suppliers benefit from this relationship? Much more than selling chocolates in the field of healthy food, Nutricandies seeks to make the best use of the basis of collaborative economics, offering benefits not only to customers, but also to all those involved in the process of producing and disseminating the products offered, transparency, quality and social impact are our main bases of work

Business Case

Our startup has developed a chemical technology of production and derivatives of nutritious creams chocolate food elaborate exclusively with plant extracts, from vegans to lactose intolerant, fitness and infant feeding, everyone looks for products that are able to meet their needs, at an affordable, practical and nutritious, considering that vegetables are obtained from family farming, the technology enables the product to become an input of the food industry with higher added value.

Objectives:

  1. Use a cyclical production joining local farmers and using their organic vegetables for our production returning a natural fertilizer
  2. Work the collaborative economy by providing raw material for small entrepreneurs boosting their sales and our brand at the same time
  3. Provide tasty and nutritious choices for children, vegan, lactose intolerant, fitness and other potential consumers

Program Nutrition for Everyone

We have founded the Nutrition for Everyone program, wich aims to connect Nutricandies with homemade and informal producers of candies and sweetmeats from vulnerable communities that would like to increase your income and learn new techniques of production. Our goal is to colaborate with the access of nutritious products in vulnerable communities, improving the nutrition of children and all the population.

Our Mission

Our team believes that a good integration between supplier, producer and consumer prioritizing collaboration and quality can improve the world food scenario.

Our Background

The Nutricandies group is composed of five students who combine their knowledge, creativity and willingness to improve the food scene and to turn the gears of this startup. We care about the whole process from feedstock production untill the distribution of the product, because it involves important and devalued instances as small farmers, or small entrepreneurs who resell food in their community. For Nutricandies, quality feeding is a right for everyone.
