Team Agrinnovators

Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago

Our Team

  • Aasiyah Ali U of the west indies, Trinidad and Tobago

Our Mission

Team Agrinnovators exists to increase the supply of locally grown and bought produce through building low income communities and empowering at risk youth. Trinidad & Tobago is dependent on importing food, new efforts to focus on quality produce at home are being led by organisations. AgriInovators will join the movement by utilizing empty and unattended spaces in communities across the island for planting to build communities of healthy eaters and farmers.

Our Background

We’ve seen what our society looks like living on imported food, while those who cant afford it barely make enough to support a family. We may not be able to change the whole country but one village at a time we change the conversation around food supply. Our 3 team members are versed in three specific areas; agribusiness, volunteerism and economics. Our interest is in food sustainability and assisting in the problem of home grown food for all.
