Locally Indonesia is a start-up business based in Indonesia which aims to empower underprivileged and Indonesian farmers and is categorized as a sociopreneur that focuses on making positive impacts on the society. Locally Indonesia would help the citizens and local farmers in the selected area(s) to enter the market in Indonesia, and help process their products and turn it into something more valuable. For example, Black Rice is our main key for branding.
Indonesia is currently facing some issues in their farming sector, such as the increase rate of imported agricultural products. Since they cannot compete with imported products, they slowly backed away or lose their interest. In fact, Indonesia has a lot of great potentials in agricultural industry because Indonesia has a lot of resources. By participating in this challenge, we hope to be able to improve the agricultural industry in Indonesia or even in a bigger scope.
