Use Case

He is even considering weed farming but he is scared because it is illegal in out country. So to be happy and secure his future financial status, He wants to continue with his vegetable farm. And to avoid wastage, he also wants to increase his sales beyond the scope of his village and he is not versed with social media and he is looking for people to advertise his products on social media.

Potential

With the preservation facilities put in place, it means a larger market for farmers, they get their capital with interest. Hence, no money time and energy is wasted. Given that the food produced in Cameroon is not only used to feed it's citizens but other countries as well who come and buy food from Cameroon. And annually, 40% of the food being produced is wasted. With this system the food produced in Cameroon will record less waste and so we will be able to supply more food to other countries. Thereby, increasing the amount of food in the world. Since healthy nutritious food diseases.

Business Case

Given that the cold rooms will be constructed using local materials and also be powered with solar energy and biomass; this will greatly reduce the cost of implementing this project. Our revenue will be gotten from the farmers who will pay a considerable amount of money to preserve their farm products in our cold rooms. And also provide cheap transportation of farm products using conditioned preservation boxes from areas of high productivity to areas where they will be consumed. To create awareness, we will be involved in social media marketing.

Objectives:

  1. Our concept aims at avoiding wastage. With the preservation facilities we will put in place, this objective will be achieved
  2. Create awareness using the social media platforms on the availability of food.
  3. Provide nutritious and healthy farm products for consumers. These preservation facilities will ensure this.
