Vegeruit Food Tablets

Innovation to Feed Humanity

To eradicate food insecurity and hunger problem, we convert food into tablet that is used instead of a proper meal & save the future of food

Use Case

Our tablet has the ability to fulfill the requirement of one proper time meal. The person will take it like normal tablets. It will be dispersed in the stomach and all the nutrients will be absorbed and distributed through blood in human body. The person will also not feel hunger till 5-6 hours.

Potential

The expected population of the world will be 10 billion till 2050. To feed these 10 billion people, our product provide the services of reliability, sustainability and affordability and has the capability to eliminate the problem of food insecurity by converting perishable food into tablet form which will ultimately extend the life of food.

Business Case

Our operation starts with collection of fruits & vegetable from the market at closing time. These are then transported to our production point via van. After that, it is passed through the screening and dehydration process and then converted into powder by grinding process and then modified into tablet. After all expenses, it cost about $0.1 per tablet. These tablets will be packed in plastic bottles. Each bottle will contain 50 tablets and these bottle cottons will be supplied to market through distributors, who make these tablets available to shops and medical stores. Each bottle will be charged for $6.5 (@$0.13 per tablet). We also take the help of NGOs to provide them to people of far flung areas (@cost only) where there is scarcity of food and people die due to hunger.

Objectives:

  1. Our 1st objective is to increase the life of perishable foods by conversion of food into tablet
  2. Our 2nd objective is to make food tablet accessible to people by engaging the services of Medical stores & NGOs
  3. Our 3rd objective is to make our food tablet sustainable that it don't have harmful chemicals & can be used instead of one proper time meal
