Liquid manure Irrigator

#fertilesoilsfeedtheworld

Locally designed liquid manure irrigation equipment to increase soil fertility for agriculture.

Use Case

Our concept can be used by farmers in various parts of the world as it is cheap and easy to do. All we need is to empower the farmers with the knowledge. We have tried it with 20 farmers in Uganda and they report a great improvement in their soils.

Potential

If we can gazette land for agriculture, and incorporate the basic nutrients to enhance soil fertility,we would be able to increase crop productivity hence creating a food basket

Business Case

Our concept is highly affordable to the farmers. starting with those in Uganda. A tank in our country will go for between $23-$50. A pipe of about 3m will go for about $25. all together we shall have a machine made for between $100-$150 depending on the size of the garden. We have a model that we shall continue modifying until it is totally user friendly.

Objectives:

  1. To be able to have as much fertile land as we can for agriculture.
  2. To be able to educate the farmers on ways in which to fertilize land and thereby increase productivity and sustainability.
  3. To ease the process of adding manure to the soils.
