Our Team

Our Mission

Greens For Good’s mission is to promote the use of local hydroponic farming. Hydroponic farming is beneficial compared to traditional growing techniques considering it requires a small amount of space, consumes fewer resources, and results in extremely high quality produce. In addition to this, Greens For Good has partnered with Penn State’s HESE program to design the most effective hydroponic kits, that will be donated to farmers in Uganda.

Our Background

Greens For Good is participating in this challenge and working diligently to ultimately end world hunger. The practice of hydroponics is unappreciated and have very many pros with essentially zero cons. By spreading the use of hydroponics, we can feed more families with fewer resources. This summer, two members of Greens For Good are traveling to Uganda to help implement the use of our hydroponic systems and spread awareness of the importance of hydroponic systems.
