Global food superfluity

Abundance through an increased workforceleading to zero hunger.

Divine agro works to increase the number of farmers and bringing in suitable farm methods & technology to farmers to increase yield.

Use Case

Adequate & suitable irrigation system considering the soil nature & climate of different regions is a key for an increased yield. This is because to reduces the risk of pest infestation and weed growth. This could be seen as it was applied in Israel and today despite the nature of land & lack of water, yet there is increased yield in farming. The number of farmers also tend to drop each year especially in Africa, there is need to make farm work attractive in other for youths to embark into farming to increase the workforce in agriculture which in turn increases the output of production.

Potential

An increase in workforce in agriculture will subsequently lead to an increases output in production. Abundace in food will in turn reduce the incidence of hunger and starvation ravaging the world especially in under developed and developing countries.Global expenditure in health as a result of hunger and malnutrition will be reduced and life expectancy increased mostly in developing countries.

Business Case

There are factors that encourage bountiful harvest in farming of which soil is among these factors. Different regions have different soil types and this has made farming favourable in some parts of the world and unfavourable to some. Considering the soil nature, Israel stand to be unfavourable but today they are among the world producers of food crops and fruits. The irrigationsystem employed is one of the determinant factors. Research institutes should be made available & accessible for farmers to learn different farming methods & technologies best suiting for their respective regions, learn the different species of food crops and also learn ways to market their products to where it is highly needed.

Objectives:

  1. To engage in mechanised farming that will ensure an increased yield of products both in quantity and in quality.
  2. To ensure that the process of farming will suffer little or no effect of climate change.
  3. Training of youths in the field of agriculture to increase the human resources in farming to help produce more varieties of food.
