Our platform combines the food nutrients from different places with bioavailability increasing the nutritional efficience

Use Case

Ana Lucia lives in Piura , north of Perú. She has problems to eat meat, and for that reason she try to cover the iron , eating lentils. But she doesn´t know anything about the bioavailabilty and for that reason she has anemia. But for other part one day she hear about Nutriscience and discharge the app, she learn about the bioavailability and put 2 lemon spoon in her plate every day. One month later she increase her iron levels and the anemia dissapear.

Potential

The people in the world needs to know about the best food combinations, to assure a good diet using the local food. The bioavailabilty in numbers will show better options to accoplish the daily nutrients. For one part it create an efficience system with our platform that use the local products creating the best combinations, the best time to eat different foods withouth reduce the efficience and for other improve the life of the people. The second part of the project using the nutrigenomic will contribute to improve the diets according the genetic from people. A person with half asian gens will need to reduce the traditional milk consume and will look other options to cover the calcium. for other part is better if you will drink a tea try to do it 1 hour later after your lentils.

Business Case

Our platform include data food nutrients (vitamins, proteins, calories, and others) in combination with the bioavailability (absortion with mixing food). We can increase our data with new products. This product will be free to people. But our incomes will focus in companies that search options to health programs to their employes and gubermental offices to the health centers. The second part will include in the platform the dna analisys (with a lab ally) to know the nutrigenomic of people and with that tool the diets of people of our corporative customers will have better benefits in the health of their employees

Objectives:

  1. Develop the data of our platform including the main nutrient food with the bioavailability references of Peruvian food (first part)
  2. Create the first nutrition platform that combines the bioavailabilty and the different nutrients from many local foods and nutrigenomic
  3. Increase the wellness of the people with good food combinations and local products.
