UniversalCookbook

Healthy eating and recipes made easier.

Imagine if you and your neighbor could share video clip recipes in a social network app! Let's evolve your idea of a cookbook!..

Use Case

1-User opens app to landing page of landing page of trending recipe video clips. If the user decides to log in, the recipes will organize into the user's diet preference. 2-User clicks on a video to make the clip full screen3-User clicks to the left or right of the video to circle through recipe steps 4-User clicks on option button on any video clip allowing: Delivery of ingredients from local store supplier, addition to a grocery list for later delivery, all available recipe information from the original recipe poster5-If user already has ingredients, the user can easily follow video clip tutorial. 6-If delivery is necessary, Pbaja takes a commission which is used towards our objectives of better education, innovation and empowerment in food knowledge and health.

Potential

Favorite part! Alone not much, but together within a smart ecosystem we can motivate healthy bodies and therefore minds affecting the world. Food Delivery in general is in a stage of massive disruption due to automation and disruptions like online only restaurants. We now have the capability to stitch together emergent technologies into a universal "cookbook on your phone" solution. The convenience usability of our proposed app is the main value proposition. Millennials only know how to cook four meals on average. By launching with just one of our partners, the College and University Food Band Alliance, which has 500+ schools, we could increase the user's healthy recipe knowledge database by 10,000+% instantly by having just one member at each school upload a recipe in beta testing!

Business Case

Pbaja is an app that allows users to order online grocery ingredients directly by integrating that function into "short recipe gif video clips that users watch on their phone." Users would be able to curate their recipe videos for healthy prescribed diet.(e.g. A combination of the Instacart and Snapchat apps)By leveraging the data from customer demand we could over time provide a win-win-win solution for students, grocery stores, food vendors eliminating food waste while helping consumers and making businesses more money equaling scalable economic impact. Pbaja would initially make money by processing and delivering food from grocery stores while taking commissions per order much similar to Instacart- but we can use demand from recipe data to scale!

Objectives:

  1. Accessibility! Allow users to share recipes, learn from others thereby increasing their general knowledge of health as it relates to food.
  2. Innovation: Use commissions from processing orders such as food delivery to fund pioneering food research and engaged users.
  3. Empowerment: Utilize the data to put health at the center and giving users the tools to navigate and improve their diets within budget.

Necessity of Smart Culture for Agriculture Innovation / Published May 5, 2018 by Julian Plowden

Necessity of Smart Culture for Agriculture Innovation

Majoring in Architecture as my expertise, I have personally explored, theorized and practiced my learning process through diverse mediums. My work has been featured in The Louvre as well as Emory University Manuscripts, Archives and Rare Books Library.

A lot of hefty information for me to just realize how much culture impacts our growth as a society! Studying urbanization and people has taught me an appreciation for how information flows between a population. We live in the age of "viral" digital content and have the ability to utilize that potential to share solutions to everyday problems like eating well and gardening our own food. We believe in the potential of an engaging network of people to be able to change how the people themselves engage with the world. We not only can but should update and improve habits easier with a smarter cultural idea of community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire smart cities, culture and resilient economics starting with food from innovations like urban farms as a focus. WE CAN DO THIS by leveraging data on the population's eating habits through a recipe cookbook gifs made into social networking app which allows sharing of gif recipes.
