Big Smallholders in collaboration with DRIAN Ghana recognizes access to practice-changing information & services as a major constraint to the productivity of smallholder farmers. Our aim is to leverage on community-based resources to bridge the information and services gap faced by under-resourced smallholder farmers in the developing world.
Big Smallholders is a team of 5 young individuals with a combined 24 years' worth of experience in development. Our different backgrounds presents refreshingly diverse perspectives in addressing challenges -- often resulting in solutions that cover several points of entry and strategy. We are participating in this challenge because it affords us a unique opportunity to learn; as we attempt to develop a solution that could significantly impact activities of smallholder farmers across the world.
